In addition to standard cabin air filters, automakers including Volvo, Land Rover, Genesis and Mercedes-Benz have developed advanced air purification system solutions built into climate control systems that are more effective at purifying air than standard cabin filters. Mercedes-Benz's air balance system, for example, combines a Charcoal Filter and Air Ionizer to clean the car's interior. What is called advanced cabin filtration is a combination of a cabin air filter and a cabin ionizer.

How does it wrok?

By turning on AC fan, installed behind the AC vent, Cabin Air Sterilizer unleashes millions of reactive ions that circulate continually throughout a car’s cabin and ventilation system. Relentless in their pursuit of pollutants, they break down foreign invaders like bacteria, viruses, pollutants, and fungi.
