Mercedes-Benz's air balance system, for example, combines a Charcoal Filter and Air Ionizer to clean the car's interior. What is called advanced cabin filtration is a combination of a cabin air filter and a cabin ionizer.

What is a Cabin Air Sterilizer?

In collaboration with Samsung Electronics, we have designed and manufactured cabin air ionization module, SPI Cabin Air Sterilizer that

can be installed behind air vents. This duo system optimizes filtration efficiency by combining Samsung's advanced air filtration technology with existing filters.

Cabin Air Sterilizer is identical to Samsung's Super Plasma ion technolgy used in Mercerdes-Benz's Air Balance system.

How does it work?

Unlike cabin filters, which trap contaminants as they pass through them, cabin sterilizer installed behind vents, it release millions of reactive ions per second into the vehicle's interior, eliminating airborne contaminants there in just seconds.

The cabin air sterilizer continuously removes air pollutants inside the vehicle creating a no-fly zone for air contaminants and odors, providing a cleaner, healthier and safer breathing environment.
